Free Zone

Starts their activities in La Plata’s Free Trade Zone in 2002.

We count with a covered structure of 2000 m², equipped with forklifts, tolos to load/unload and Racks.

We also have an area of 1200 m² for vehicles and machinery that provides safety and agility to the handling of merchandise.

What is a Free Zone?

Es un territorio extra aduanero donde las mercaderías e insumos ingresan y permanecen sin tributar impuestos , tasas o derechos de importación y exportación.

Advataged of operating in a Free Zone

Ingreso de mercaderías (extrazona):

• Unlimited time to stay in the FZ
• You can sell and transfer the merchandise admited in the FZ to other importers

In case of selling merchandise produced in third-party countries within the Free Zone, the operation is not encumbered by:

• VAT (see Art. 1 of the regulation decree in VAT’s law)
• Customs’ rights, since the merchandise wasn’t nationalized. That said, if the merchandise came from the TAG, the operation is encumbered by the VAT, but in the moment that it is exported to third-party countries you may request the devolution of this tax (Art. 43 VAT law)
• In terms of Income Taxes, it retains its full validity in the Free Zone, as well as its Withholding and Payment regimes.
• Gross Income and stamps. By operation of Law 12.045 of Buenos Aires Province, the incomes obtained from licensees and Direct and Indirect users of activities effectively conducted in the Free Zone, with the exception of godos sold to the TAG, are not encumbered by this tax. Incomes obtained by suppliers of the TAG that export their products to the Free Zone or provide their services there, are also not encumbered by this tax.
